In the summer of 2008 we will see Gilbert and Sullivan's "Hot Mikado". It opens June 20th and runs for three weeks. East meets West head-on in this hilarious 1940's-style updating of the perennial Gilbert and Sullivan classic. With the music transmuted into blues, Cab Calloway swing, hot gospel, scorching torch songs and 'Three Little Maids' turned into an Andrew Sisters' show-stopper, this zoot-suited, tap-dancing colourful show is certain to provide the ideal evening out for the whole family.

On Oct 19th for three weekends with "Dearly Departed". Set somewhere south of the Mason Dixon line, tells the story of father Turpin's funeral and its aftermath, not to mention the dizzying array of crazies who are attached to him. This husband and patriarch of the family, was not exactly God-fearing, or even perhaps likable and, as a result, his extended family has a variety of unexpected responses to his passing. When his wife, Raynelle, is asked by the preacher, who is to give the eulogy at his funeral, to describe her husband, the widow succinctly replies that Bud was "mean and surly."

Moving into our 2009 season we will start off with the youth production "Aladin, Jr.", then "12 Angry Men", following by the summer musical Fantasticks" and closing with "Christmas Story".

2010 will begin with the youth production of "Alice in Wonderland, Jr.", "Inherit the Wind", the musical "Meet Me In St Louis" and ending with "Charlies Aunt"
